Growing Lavender Partnerships

When the farm opens each summer, it’s a partnership between owners Cathy and Leeon Angel and Gail Wicklein, owner of Sequim Lavender Farm. The partners agree they are like-minded when it comes to business, and their skills compliment each other.

Cathy Angel, who grows lavender with her husband on the Angel Farm, checks on an edible variety that's drying thin their barn. The Folgate lavender is dried, cleaned and used in meat sauces, cookies, salad dressings and even lemonade. The Angels grow more than a dozen varieties of lavender, "and boy does it produce." she says
